The Throbber 2022 Crack VST plugin uses a modified Polywave algorithm, a modified Linear frequency filter method, and a non-linear 1/z biquad filter. I use this algorithm and filter for several reasons:

The algorithm results in the fastest and most accurate implementation of the Polywave algorithm.
The algorithm uses a Linear frequency filter, which is preferred for most synth operations, unlike the Polywave algorithm.

A Modulator / oscillator, with ring modulation, and a Peak Detector. The modulators output is fed to a Voltage Controlled Amplifier (VCA) or Multi-mode filter (VCS), allowing for very complex waveforms, such as Ring Modulated oscillators, PWM modulated filters, etc.

The Mode button also disables the Bass and Treble knobs. The bass controls the speed at which the oscillator is attenuated, while the treble controls the speed at which the envelope is attenuated. The VCF can also be used in unison with the LFO to create very rich waveforms.
The Bias control sets the amplitude (envelope) or frequency response of the filter, as well as its center / cutoff frequency. You can also use the Controls and the LFO to set a custom envelope function.
